Grishko’s “2007” Pointe Shoe
Grishko's 2007 pointe shoe is a gorgeous pointe shoe that is distinguised by it's perfect balance and placement, outstanding durability, lack of noise, and perfect comfort. The shoe has a u-shaped medium vamp with a drawstring, moderate taper, medium platform, 3/4 roll-though shank design, and machine-stitched suede sole which provides an easy transition from demi-pointe to full pointe and back. The new anatomical form is extremely supportive and comfortable for many different kinds of feet. It's designed to relieve pressure on the big toe joint. Vegan style is available by order only (please call the store for more information). Ribbons and elastics are included in price.
Available in Grishko's pink (very pale peachy pink).
Sizes: 1.0 to 8.0 (US Sizes 4 to 12; Sizes 3 through 7 are stocked)

Fitting:
Grishko recommends to fit 2 1/2 sizes smaller than your street shoe and recommends this shoe for feet with even to tapered toes with an average heel. We have found that Grishko runs narrower than many pointe shoes and we have adjusted our widths in the drop down menu to better match actual foot widths (rather than what Grishko's chart below suggests).

Grishko® pointe shoes are designed to give dancers ultimate support, placement, and comfort. To achieve this goal the dancer needs to be properly fitted by a professional (like Kat) who can determine the best model and size for that dancer. The style of shoe a dancer needs is determined by the shape of her foot (particularly the length of her toes), her strength, and the manner in which her teacher instructs her to go on pointe. As an authorized fitter, Kat can determine your perfect Grishko® fit.Please note that sometimes shoes you think may work for your foot really don't end up working and it does take an experienced fitter to troubleshoot the foot and fit.
